Temple Marathon ...

After an incredible night bus ride with a broken bus, a driver with "lead foot" has broken down and waiting for the replacement bus we arrived 3.5 hours late in Siem Reap. Here waiting for us, fortunately a nice hotel where we were able to recover in a short time.
Siem Reap, famous for its temples - the most famous Ankor Wat - has to offer as the Cambodian tourist center lot. We have the temple, but also the good restaurants, pubs and enjoyed the massages.
The temple ruins date from the 8th to 12 Century, served as the builders of temples, royal palaces, universities and libraries. Are you with beautiful reliefs, spiritual and faces of Buddha and are decorated in a large park with beautiful old trees and water plants, which in some places, Buddhist or Hindu notions of the sky symbolize.
We started with a visit motivated and have two days each with 4 temples explored and climbed. After watching the most important thing left us on the third day, the desire for more culture.

We decided instead to join a cooking class for Cambodian food. We got together with a couple from Taiwan spring rolls, a special curry and the Cambodian national dish Amouk "to prepare.
Guided by a very nice cook the evening was lovely and intense learning. Was included among other things, a passage of the local market with a lesson in Asian goods customer. Toll, of which we will benefit a long time.
morning it goes on ...

Error At Line 1:ora-00911: Invalid Character

leave Cambodia

arrived in Kep, we wanted to show us a tuk tuk driver a range of accommodation to us for the to decide best. The very first home was a beautiful bungalow, in a neat, peaceful garden with nice landlords. Thus, we booked us there for a four nights. Kep is a quiet coastal town with no beach and is for this reason, until now untouched by tourism. We went for a walk, a pepper plantation have visited, seafood and BBQ for the first time grilled cancer eaten. Adventurous!

Our plan provides for two weeks for Cambodia, in the last four days we will visit the temples of Angkor Wat. Otherwise, only the beach and relaxing is called for. Juhuuuu .... Christmas on the beach and New Year in Bangkok and not as in previous years, working in the hospital.
From Sihanoukville we went with a dive boat to the island of Koh Rong, because we wanted to dive again. The dive was disappointing because the visibility was extremely bad, and everything seemed brown. A few fish, no beautiful coral and dive school was disorganized and poorly equipped. Thus, we saved ourselves the second dive and got instead a beautiful afternoon at the picturesque and deserted beach, because we stayed there. The natural island is home to 500 residents, three resorts, each with three to ten cabins and a forest. A simple wooden hut in the jungle, a lounchiges restaurant, every two hours swimming in the sea and a beautiful sunset on the way back, all we needed for the better.
The Christmas day we spend here in Sihanoukville. There is enough going on - almost too much. We found at the end of the beach but a nice place. A small Wooden bungalow, built on a hillside with beautiful views of the sea.

How Do Women Have Big Boobs And Skinny Bodies

From Mui Ne to Saigon in the Mekong Delta Bike Tour

Our time of day on the beach in Mui Ne on the beach was filled with: drinking coffee, watching Italian food, kite surfing and swimming in the sea
The next morning we got our bike back on time. at 8:00 clock off and it went on, because we had decided after the events of the first four days for a continuation of the bike tour. We went in two days of Saigon. The path led along the coast to pretty bad roads. We stopped at a local Fishing port, made a detour to a desert-like sand dunes, stopped at a great beach with surf rock and enjoyed breaks in hammocks with fresh coconut milk and exotic fruits. Once in Saigon, we were shocked again by the heavy traffic. Saigon is a city that shows in many places a western progressive image.
We stayed three days and looked at them "Warmuseum" at. Frightening what the war has done everything ... As compensation, we treated ourselves to a Asian massage. It hurt a bit! Then we headed to the Mekong Delta to My Tho. stopped on the way we are at a snake farm. There is anti-serum prepared against snake bites. There is also a specialized hospital for such injuries. We are not a reptile friends, so it did not like us. We stayed at Coconut Iceland, where, after the Vietnam War, a new religion as a mixture of Christianity and Buddhism. The next station was at Can Tho plan. Unfortunately, it rained 24 hours a piece and we are, despite rain gear, to become wet in the pants. The rain did not end so we decided to afflict our journey without motorcycle.
We adopted our two new friends at a nice dinner and Rice liquor and visited the next day to complete the floating market. At 6:00 we went. The traders bring their goods on boats in the men's Mekong and indicate, for example, by selling the flag pole hanging pineapple, what they do. Customers also take a boat and look for the dealer with the best product and the cheapest price, until the completion of the trade on two decks. We shopped a bit, pineapple and watermelon. That was fun!
went again with dry clothing it in the direction Cambodian border. That was really exciting because we had just hired a taxi to the border. How vonstattengehen everything should did not we. It was not in the run-up to determine whether these very small border crossing is open to Europeans and whether we had expected difficulties with customs officials. On the Vietnamese side, everything went quickly. A bit excited we were now at the gate of the Cambodian border. We completed the four necessary stations, including visa application and health investigation "in less than an hour. Some fee payments later we had a valid visa. A friendly taxi driver drove us for an exorbitant price to Kep, because that should be our next destination ......
Vietnam was great !!!!!

What Happens After I Deworm My Puppy

In Da Lat, we have been sightseeing in Lonely Planet and had the feeling: "This can not be anything ...." Somehow, what was missing ... While walking through the town we were greeted by a friendly older gentlemen, just to the question: "Are you German", the usual answer: "How do you know?". Thus began a friendship which we have revealed many hidden sites in Vietnam. We decided on a road trip with Thao and BINGHE of Dalat to Mui Ne Beach. Overall, for four days were scheduled.

So we started on Saturday morning towards the mountains. Initial skepticism lay down quickly, we visited waterfalls, a silk mill, coffee plantations, a mushroom farm, looked at us like rice wine is made and everything was supplemented with expert explanations. In between times we have been exposed and should proceed or meet, which was really a bargain because our inexperienced back quickly even took a break.

evening we went to a family in the village, in a simple Wooden house survived. It is one of the many hill tribes, and said of course not a word of English and very limited Vietnamese. On the floor cross-legged, there were noodles with vegetables, fatty pork and of course various organs of this animal. Since we had just fear that we should now try intestine. We were lucky to have got around it. The fatty pork was us some totally sweet prepared with our chopsticks, dipped in chilli previously nice and then washed down with a little rice wine. The mother of adult children was 65 years old, but looked older. She has brought seven children into the world, unfortunately a lot of work and drinking much alcohol. Most members of the Family work as day laborers on a coffee farm. A son of the old woman, Timo was great and wanted to initiate it always with him, but unfortunately, we always forget his name. That was sweet. Then he found out that his guest is a doctor and he tried to describe his symptoms and / or audition. Unbelievable, how much communication is possible even without a common language ..... This family was very nice and your living conditions were very impressive, easy. There to take pictures, we found inappropriate.
the next three days our tour were then also very exciting and it has continued to make a lot of fun. There was a coffee roasting plant, a snake breeder a tea plantation, small talk with local, a small mountain village and of course a flat tire on the plan. These four days have given us an insight into the life of Vietnam, off the beaten track. Now we enjoy a rest in Mui Ne on the beach and because it was so beautiful, we continue our bike tour in the Mekong Delta.

Maplestory Make Moonstone

adventure in the South ...

The small town of Ninh Binh, also known as Dry Halong Bay, two hours south of Hanoi. There we have the next morning, put up early for a boat ride. Dick was packed it with the rowing boat along the river by Kalkfelshöhlen. Few people were there so early. It was very quiet and you have only heard the sound of oars. Until we came upon a group of Vietnamese teachers in the province, which to us Europeans had great interest. They asked us to roll, gave us tips and insider asked us holes in the abdomen. A very funny animated group. Lunch at a Vietnamese family finally got what until now, looking back our best meal. Of course, with rice, spring rolls, tofu, vegetables and a tasty tomato sauce.

The next day we visited the Cuc Phuong National Park. A natural rain forest, his name made on that day all the glory. We walked for two hours and in the end we took a look at the Rescue Centre, in the endangered species of monkey bred and wild.
In the evening we had booked a ticket for the night train to Hue. Ca. half an hour before departure, we arrived at the station. As expected, the small waiting room was crowded. Unfortunately, they all wanted to Hue. When the train arrived it was said that in about 4 minutes, including ticket and passport control to enter the train. Adventurous! The cars appeared to us as discarded car of the GDR state railway. It appeared to us but clean, running until we saw the beetles along the wall. The passage was so narrow that it hardly came through with a backpack. There was only one direction possible, and no time at all did not go. In our six-compartment, it was quite restless. By loud snoring (we were not!) To a fellow passenger, suffered cowering on the floor, an attack of Reiseuebelkeit. With two hours late, we went angkommen after 14 hours in Hue and had to get directly to the connecting bus that took us in a further 6 hours to Hoi An.

where we liked it very much because it was a nice mix of cozy restaurants, coffee shops, tailor shops and bars. In addition, it was an area with little traffic and a fantastic atmosphere in the small town. Hoi An is known for cooking classes. So, off to the kitchen! There was of course the typical Pho noodle soup, grilled shrimp in banana leaf, a typical Vietnamese salad and a fish curry. The atmosphere was great from the market visit to the after-work beer at the bar
Our experience in public transportation, we decided to fly to Da Lat. Arrived here, we have decided to make a trip to the Highlands. Tomorrow we go. We look forward .....

How Do I Persuade My Wife To Wear Stockings

Vietnam

On the way from the airport to Hanoi City, was our first Thought, everything has a bit similarity with India. We saw and heard a lot of extremely loud motorcycles honked, but was only half as much. Lots of life on the road, but it was very clean. Buying a shop after another, one was not pressed anything. Thus, had quickly emerged, it was different. "Same same but different" ;-)!
Our hotel was situated in the historic district. At our first orientation walk, we noticed that all the shops in a street side aligned. This was because that are located in Hanoi all the craftsmen and merchants of a species in the same street and the street named accordingly is. Such as road salt, Bambustraße, fabric or paper street road. This system was interrupted and localized in the street food stall. Characteristic of Vietnam is that every meter is used along the street to earn money. Often with simple things: soups, beverages, corn cobs, travel agencies, laundries ... Entered one of these stores, you automatically got an insight into the living room or the kitchen, which was directly behind it.
when sightseeing and when dealing with the Vietnamese people we quickly realized that these people are very friendly and considerate. The road is not on his Law. It will not be scolded, and they go around one, when trying to cross the street.

Our next goal was to Halong Bay. Arrived there by bus, we went on board a ship. Since the bay is one of the top tourist destinations in the north of Vietnam, lying in that port 400! Schiffe.Nachdem we left the harbor, we will note that there were only a few ships in sight. The limestone cliffs rose like sugar loaves from the sea, forming a beautiful panorama. A small snack on board, here and there some small talk with the other guests. Together, we have then by canoe, the floating village, Hai Long explored. Several fishing families living in this village in detached floating houses from the mainland. Back on the ship there was a small spring rolls, cooking class and nice get-together with the other travelers. Interesting stories were exchanged and travel routes compared. It was a very nice round, represented were Denmark, Holland, Ireland, France, America, Luxembourg and Deutschland.Am next day we visited a cave and then we went back to Hanoi.

What Kind Of Laptop Should I Buy

Erhohlungspause Malaysia

Our last post was long ago ... . We left India and are to Malaysia flown. There, many looked quite different, we missed the colorful turbans, saris and the "head weighing" of the Indians ...
We have a slightly nicer hotel rented. It was also necessary! We had laundry, refill supplies, backpack stocked, clean and enjoy the events leave the past week.

The Petronas Tower Shopping Center and several were accordingly all we got to see in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia seems to be wonderful and is another trip, possibly in 2011, worth.

Is Looking At 12chan Illegal

The dream ....

... of Motorcycle Cannonball 2011th At least for me. :-( (

As you can see the Cannonball Page *** *** , it is also in 2011, a Coast to Coast Run for motorcycles give, but unfortunately only for motorcycles up to MY 1929th

kicks off on 9 Sept 2011 in New York and the run ends on 24 Sept on the California coast. The route this time a bit north of the USA. The highlight is a trip by ferry across Lake Michigan to Milwaukee (3x must be advised in which Company will this stage?) And the crossing of the Rocky Mountains at 3,500 m altitude. Daily stages of 400 -500 km are to be covered. Participation is open to motorcycles until year 1929, which can hold an average of 80-90 km / h on level ground. The timelines will be accordingly. There will be only one class. And the entry fee is $ 2,500 .... :-( (

Well, by the year 1929 I am unfortunately limited to get out. My oldest motorcycle, the Super X and has built in 1930. Almost past is just the mark. But I'm actually quite happy about it. I must not thoughts do more, whether I participate or not. But to dream that was once so beautiful now ... ;-))
