What Means Processor Frequency

WL sell parts!

week before last I was once again on my favorite wrench ** Thomas Rothacker / U.S. Classic bikes ** in Östringen. Thomas seems to have made what is strong for 2011. The workshop was cleaned up and flashed from all corners.

A new Storage system in the adjacent rooms to ensure order. So for 2011, the quality of U.S. Classic Bikes is guaranteed. Thomas seems to have found pleasure in the bobber. He is now building a 741 in Indian Bobber style. I'm curious on the outcome.

reason for my visit was the pick of my old WL parts that are left over from last year to rebuild. The soon to go on on Ebay ** ** pal Rudi over the counter. Almost all original parts, but in very different states. If someone is looking for something specific, he can log in here on the blog. If the Part was already set but then goes on Ebay, nothing more.
** ** Here are it even more Bildervon the parts.

Bridal Mak Up Pitcher

Slowly you can ....

... we'll look forward to spring!

Even if the weather does not look like yet, but someday it will be spring and we can get back on the road. And there's so much involved in this (still) dark time dreaming, here's you a little overview of the upcoming events to Jahresmitte. Was I create them to be seen. Yes, there are lives next to the bike ;-))

Traditionally it is going with me on 1 May weekend with a weekend tour in the Palatinate Forest. Let's see who comes along this year and meet who I am.

May 22, 2011
Track Racer The season begins on Sunday, May 22 in Solingen at the velodrome. A must for me which I am very delighted. I hope for good, dry weather. Although the video from Bielefeld but very beautiful and cut taken by Stefan. Since I can only learn. ;-))

Butch makes strong wind at his event. All chopper blogs of the world have been his Flyer Online. Because I want of course, are not inferior. I think I'm going to Sunday in >> Home Recke << pitch. The tour is very beautiful and there to meet some Contaminated is not bad.

On the same weekend there is the >> AMCA Meeting << in Rijswijk near The Hague, The Netherlands and held in Dijon / F of >> Coupe Moto Legend <<. One can not approach everything .... ;-))

Jun 02, 2011
goes on Ascension's been a few years to his healer's Horscht >> Custom and Classic Festival << in 76 661 Huttenheim. A very nice event and I hope and, above all, Horst and the Organising Club >> MC Huttenheim << that the weather This time is better than last year (and the year before that and the year before and the year dav ....). I want to arrive sweaty once in life completely and bathe in the lake. As the holidays this year are all very late, I'm assuming that it will work this time. So do not forget your swimming costume! ;-))

And then summer = holidays and the end of June the Indians and the meeting will begin Shovelhead Party. But until then, so can now happen so much. So: first dream of the spring and then in the 2nd Half look.

Paintball Blog Freak Barrel

The secret of Bonham's Super X!

I recently had contact with Jeff, the owner of my Super X. He had rummaged in my blog (Google Translator *** *** Thank ) and found the auction in the *** Bonham's auction Las Vegas in early January *** Super X in original paint with Goulding sidecar. And that was in such a lot:

I noticed the original paint Super X with side car I tried to buy that at auction over a decade ago I quit bidding at.. $ 16,000.00 - idiot!
It went to an older gentleman (remark: Marvin Enoch) who I knew in Kansas City. He let me borrow the original muffler/tail pipe to copy. Your muffler is a direct descendant of that machine. So is your pin striping. The photos I took of that bike guided my painter. The Kansas City man sold it later for $21,500.00, then it went to a collector and I haven’t heard of it since, until I saw it on you blog.

So I attended the first auction of the Super X after it had been brought out of a long term residency at the original owner’s farm. I shot this photo of it.

Note how the sidecar frame had been painted black. While the bike was in storage at the auction house, with the tub off the frame, an employee didn’t know what the frame went to and threw it in a junk pile in a field. When his mistake was realized they found the frame under a foot of snow, and rusted. The preservative black paint was a result of that near disaster.
I was in the stands and had calculated what I thought I could afford to bid. I was excited when the bidding slowed to a stop at $12,000.00, in my range financially. But a guy I know leaned over to elderly Marvin Enochs and said, “This may be your only chance to ever get a Super X,” so much to my disappointment the bidding resumed. I bailed out at $16,000.00 and Marvin became its second owner and dragged it home.

While in Mr. Enoch’s possession it was left unrestored, which is a tribute to Enochs because he had restored 30-some bikes (30s Harleys. Indian Fours, Hendersons, etc.) to show quality. This one he recognized as a museum artifact to be left undisturbed. I visited and took these pictures to document details that could only be found on an original unrestored Streamline Super X.

Marvin auctioned off his lifetime collection of cars and motorcycles. I was there but this time the X sold for $21,500.00, again out of my range, to ***“Motoexotica” *** (a car and bike dealer) in St. Louis, Missouri.

I had heard someone from Long Island, NY had bought it but presumed it would never be seen again, until it showed up in the Bohnam auction listing for the Las Vegas, NV auction. Apparently it sold for $39,780.00.

It appears that every person who has owned Super X and sidecar that has done well at the point at Which they've decided to part with it.

Note: *** *** Motoexotica has 32.500verkauft the team as stated on the webpage for USD. On the linked page *** *** are very nice detail photos, and it is described how the machine has come into possession of Motexotica.

Why Does Sore Throat Hurts More At Night

first Track Racer winter meeting at the AWD Museum!

Last weekend was the first Track Racer winter meetings. Inspired by the VFV *** Forum *** were more than 25 participants in the DWS Museum at Tommi in Ratingen. Afternoon coffee and cake, pea soup and a delicious dinner at Krombacher (which tasted even the Düsseldorf and Cologne ;-)), there was a lively exchange of information about old and new times. Besides pictures and movies were shown by recent events.
Tommi explains what
professionals going on among themselves
The meeting has been hungry for the year 2011. Prelude is scheduled on May 22, 2011 in Solingen.Weitere are here *** *** . Since we can only hope that the railways can ride out the winter and continue maintained by the cycling clubs and the commune are.

Tommi led us through the old workshop and the car collection of his grandfather ** * August *** Wurring , the founder of AWD ( A ugust W urring üsseldorf D). Beautiful that Tommi with great enthusiasm and effort receives the inheritance, not only to look at, but he moved the bikes also appropriately. Meanwhile, he has a good number of bikes of his grandfather brought back together and restored. The story of AWD is certainly worth a separate post. But for that I must visit again Tommi alone.
