Nomarks Creamside Efect

Top End Australia

Darwin, Litchfield NP and the line to Western Australia

greet you,

despite the incredibly beautiful and diverse landscape in Kakadu National Park, we were happy to return to civilization, the sultry heat and the thousands of mosquitoes can not just stop time from ...

So we set in the dazzling metropolis of the Northern Territory with a fabulous 70,000 inhabitants ...;-)

But on the way we did

first acquaintance with

giant barramundi and very intimate

Long-neck turtles !

Darwin is located in a large bay with many green parks and has a lot to offer.

We enjoyed a movie in a deck chair under the stars, strolling through the fairly small town and had the good fortune to the first Sunset Market this year to be able to do. Everywhere smelt of the finest power levels, artists showed what they can and of course lots of stuff was available ... we looked at the beautiful opening fireworks on the beach and bought a hammock, we can use certain very well.

And off we went to the next great highlight of the North, Litchfield National Park, the

On the way there, we were surprised by the beautiful Berry Springs, natural Schw

immbecken associated with mangrove decorated river routes. We swing on our air mattress and spent a wonderful time in the refreshing water.

In varied Litchfield NP, we saw beautiful waterfalls with holes for water to splash, went adventurous Four-wheel-tracks and put the Waldi to the test and were amazed by the giant termite mound! The ants here prove that they are masters of architecture and building up their "cathedrals" up to a whopping 8 feet!

Finally, we discovered an incredibly beautiful Robin Falls, with black rocks and a small water hole for swimming, we were all alone for us.

It's very pleasant here in the north of Australia, everywhere there are beautiful lakes and waterfalls where you can cool off and escape the hot sun briefly.

went from there, then release it into the wild, wild West! All the way we have been accompanied by funny baobab trees with huge trunks and withered branches. The border crossing is pretty much take the Aussies to confiscate all fruit and vegetables, and search the car for frogs and insects ... that we were 1 1 / 2 Hours for free!

The adventure now continues in the Kimberleys and the west coast!
