The Endeckungstour the country of contrasts continues ... Te Anau is the starting point of all excursions and activities in Fiordland, among other things started there, another Great Walk, the Kepler Track .

Since we are fairly well understood, we joined together for the next few days and enjoyed together the magnificent mountains of New Zealand. In the early morning the next day we took out our flashlights and explored the 500 meters away from the Hütt'n Tropfsteinhoehle. That was the real adventure! We scrambled deep into the pitch dark Cave and marveled at the wrong limestone formations, which had formed in the course of the last thousand years.

Then we started the second part of the hike, about the Mount Luxmore and over two Bergkaemme with a wonderful view to the next hut led.
The weather was top class, and bright sunshine, blue sky without a single cloud, and with a hearty snack at the 1471 m high summit we could see for miles over the snowy treetops.

From Te Anau the road continues to the legendary Milford Sound . We started in good weather, but this was getting worse and pretty soon it is pouring down with rain, but in this area is probably completely normal. The road ended in Milford what ansich only one airport, where to start all Scenic Flights and a harbor where ships dump all the Scenic. We took a boat tour with a very small boat, which was a very good decision. So we came up close to the up to 2,000 meters high, and our captain Fiordhaenge even contributed to the impressive waterfalls, so that the last passenger was dripping wet! The thrilling tour through the complete fiord to the open, Tasmanian lake where our boat rocked very serious! In the way back we saw more intimate seals lounging on the rocks, just great!
The next day we took a huge piece to the student city Dunedin where we have the rainy evening mending with a movie. Before Dunedin is the animal-rich peninsula Otago Penesula where sea lions are huge the next day some fun and exciting time bestowed. We came very close to the fat ran mammals, which were either lazy on the beach and threw their fins in sand or in the sea war upon each other. We hoped to have a look at a flying albatross to catch, the nestet world's only on this coast, but this did not work unfortunately.
Instead we saw the next day finest and most intimate penguins in the wild!
we discovered the little yellow-eyed penguins when they came out of the sea to feed their young. Believe it or not, but the nimble penguins climbed easily up quite a steep slope and met their young. The colorless still whole plush boys can not have been older than 5 months! We could not believe what is happening there in front of our eyes!
