again two varied
and entertaining weeks in beautiful New Zealand! Time passed for us in a flash and 5 weeks for the South Island was definitely too short! We are now already in Auckland, the largest city in the North Island. The 3-hour ferry ride from one island to another offered fantastic views of the Marlobourgh Sounds since the ferry went through the middle
Fiordland.
But first things first ...
After the meeting with the penguins we had a stark contrast program. We turned away from the coast and headed inland, the largest mountain in New Zealand. The road took a long time by hilly countryside during the lunar mountains were always higher. First, we visited over a short track the Tasman glacier lake. The next day we took a walk into the Hooker Valley and came to be the overwhelming mountain again closer the target, another glacial lake was fed by all sides.

After Abel Tasman Track we explored nor the northern tip of South Island, known as Golden Bay . An alternative and more relaxed area, nice beaches and good auszuchillen to there a few days. We had this time no longer, because the ferry on the North Island was already booked.
We arrived in the capital Wellington on the ferry and went immediately on the way to Auckland, as we board the flight to paradise on 31 01. not want to miss.

We let our dream come true and fly to the beautiful Cook Islands in the heart of the South Seas. July is her birthday this year under a palm tree to celebrate and we both leave us after all the "hardships" of the last time a real treat ...;)
