After we discovered in the rebuilding of the WL-Bobbers that the speedometer all indicating not only the speed, so it went to Ka-Ja- *** *** speedometer service. This is done good work there, has apparently rumgesprochen. For the repair time was slightly longer, something much longer.

But there was an accurate quote and I decided to have repaired the innards, but to preserve the patina. These include the dial, the digits on the odometer and trip meter. And since this is the original civilian 1946er speedometer, it was worth the action.


Thomas has taken down the rest of the time the cylinders (but is with a 1st Great to general inspection, right? ) And lo and behold, everything is wonderful. No visible traces of any kind and any tolerances or as it were and ought to be. As the gentle retraction has paid on the first few miles anyway. It was a lot of patience is required. Not only me, but even with my passengers particularly in long-Thorsten Gabler, who has reeled off so some miles behind me this summer. Unfortunately, Thomas has forgotten in his joy at the beautiful cylinder to take pictures. :-( (But the next time he makes the big inspection anyway ;-)). automatically back down ....
